Are you looking to get more involved? We have plenty of great volunteer opportunities available and we will be hosting a Virtual Volunteer Recruitment Fair series next week. Please join us if you would like to learn more about ways to serve the Red Cross Mission. Below are some volunteer opportunities that are available now.
Disaster Action Team Member: Provides 24-hour emergency response to local disasters, particularly house fires, ensuring that those affected have access to resources for basic necessities such as food, shelter and clothing. Flexible schedule and work locations.
Disaster Cycle Services Caseworker: assists disaster-affected individuals and families who request recovery services after being affected by
disaster. One year, 2-hour per week commitment.
Face Covering Crafter: Help us COVER THE SPREAD of COVID-19 by sewing cloth face coverings for active duty service members, veterans, and their immediate family.
Regional Resiliency Coordinator: Assist with recruitment for, coordination of, and reporting for virtual and in-person resiliency workshops. Written and verbal communication skills as well as intermediate proficiency with MS Office applications preferred.
Public Affairs Liaison: Document Service to the Armed Forces achievements and experiences as a liaison between the Public Affairs and SAF teams. Strong written communication skills and MS Office proficiency preferred. Flexible schedule.
SAF Caseworker: Spread the word about Red Cross services by informing military family members about Red Cross emergency communications and following up on emergency communications. Flexible schedule and work locations.One year, 2-hour per week commitment.
