PLAN REVIEW
The Building Official reviews plans and inspects all improvements in our City. The plan review turnaround time for residential projects is approximately 1-2 weeks, and for Commercial, 2-4 weeks. When submitting commercial plans for review, two full set of plans along with the Building Permit Application should be submitted to the Community Development Services Department at City Hall located at 108 Second St., Pleasanton, Texas. In addition, three sets of utility plans should be submitted to the Public Works Department located at 740 E. Hunt St., Pleasanton, Texas. The Code Enforcement Officer enforces our codes on health and safety issues, and inspects food establishments. For a list of Permit Fees please click here.
24 HOUR INSPECTION REQUESTS
Inspection requests should be made 24 hours in advance to (830) 569-3867 ext. 226 or by email at permits@pleasantontx.gov. Any request before 8:00 p.m. will be scheduled the next working business day, and inspection requests after 8:00 p.m. will be scheduled for the following working business day.
