The City of Pleasanton would like to inform you, our public, of the status of the skatepark renovation project. Construction is slated to begin the week of November 28 and will go into the new year, with status updates to follow. We are happy to say that the project is starting earlier than anticipated, with no foreseen supply issues.
It should be noted that this construction will be underway during the Merry on Main event on Friday, December 2, and Saturday, December 3. This means that there will be construction in the vicinity of the event, particularly in the Winter Wonderland area. The City will ensure that safety continues to be paramount; there will be barricades set up surrounding the construction area. However, the public is welcome to survey the construction and its progress.
