COMMUNITY EVENTS
Pleasanton Police Department values the relationship with our community. We have several annual events to reinforce this relationship and to provided needed services. Each year Pleasanton Police Department holds National Night Out on the second Tuesday in October. Local businesses and agencies as well local law enforcement agencies participate in a free, fun-filled evening to strengthen the law enforcement and community relationship. In addition  to National Night Out, Pleasanton Police Department provides Christmas gifts to local children through our Blue Santa program. Toys are collected, wrapped, and distributed at a party attended by Blue Santa and Pleasanton Police Department Officers. Other events include regular SNAP Clinics and we recently added "Popcorn with the Police" to mark the end of school and beginning of summer for our local students. When not hosting our own events, the Pleasanton Police Department eagerly participates in local activities hosted by other agencies. We value the added opportunities to get to know our citizens.
