              City Secretary
                                        Andres Aguirre, B.S

City Secretary Andres Aguirre has served the City of
Pleasanton for 15 years. He started his career within
the City as a Seasonal Lifeguard in 2005, when he was a
Sophomore in High School. In 2008, just one year after
graduating from Pleasanton High School, he became
the City's Pool Manager and oversaw all pool
operations while attending College at the University of
   Incarnate Word.

In 2014 he earned his Bachelors Degree in Business
Management from the University of Incarnate Word, and was then offered a Full-Time position at the Pleasanton Civic Center as the Activities & Facilities Coordinator, where he oversaw all City-owned facility rentals.  In March of 2015, he was appointed as the City Secretary by Mayor and City Council. His diverse career background gave Andres a fresh perspective that has helped the City Secretary's role move forward for Pleasanton.

As City Secretary, Andres is responsible for the preservation of City records such as agendas, minutes, ordinances, and resolutions. He  schedules and oversees all city elections in accordance to the Texas Election Code.
